Still cheaper than the jet fuel it *ought* to be running on... in any case, it gets around 1 MPG, so you can translate "cost per gallon" to "cost per mile" quite quickly...

I noted four things:
  1. It goes really fast
  2. It's rather small
  3. It's extremely expensive
  4. Speeding tickets can be *REALLY* expensive...

If you can't afford the bike, you definitely can't afford the fuel...

Bummer! I just clicked it from the post... it came up, but perhaps I've got it cached. Can you search Youtube for it?

It worked for me. Not the first jet engined bike I have seen but this one seemed well finished. Working for an airline proper JET-A1 fuel access is not a problem so getting more power out of it would not be a problem

yeahh....

I'll pass. That kind of engine is called "jet engine" for a reason . Only exception would be if someone made jet boots, -That- would be awesome

I'm just wondering where that came from.

There isn't a big difference between kerosene-type jet fuel and diesel fuel, and from what I can tell in my area it's the jet fuel that's cheaper.

Price data is available from the US DOE:

I'd say it came from my own ignorance of the difference in prices... the article made mention of the difficulty in acquiring it, and I somehow leapt to a conclusion of it being more costly.

Wrong again...
