It's all over. England have beaten Sri Lanka by 4 wickets to secure their fourth successive series win. Apart from a little frog in the throat the Fat Lady has finished singing and has taken her seat. Centre stage has been taken by that mountain of naked flesh known as the Barmy Army. From Colombo to Melbourne and from Karachi to Sydney they can be heard singing deleriously at the top of their voices:

Bring on the Aussies!!
Bring on the Aussies!!

Me either. I neither know or care about cricket. But what the hay -- glad you're happy Donut.

Well Donut, congratulations are in order. I'm enough of a sportsman to give credit where it is due, and I love my cricket enough to relish a good contest.

The old enemy awaits.

Yeah, I guess I should congratulate you too. Good work to come back from 1-0 down on turning tracks and having to put up with dodgy umpiring against the best offspinner in the world.

But only because we want you fellas to be properly prepped up when you have to face our three pronged pace attack in a few month's time.

Yorick & Memnoch - thanks for the congratulations, I'm sure we will be prepared - we've got a series against Pakistan before we play Australia.

Moiraine, Relic & bilqis, please feel free to share in the warm glow which is surrounding me!
