Heh, yeah Aerie was kind of "Whingy", but I actually liked her. You had to keep her in the proper context. She was much like a child in a new world trying to find a way to cope with her maladies. Probably only a parent could appreciate her predicament.

Actually as a NPC she has a great assortment of spells being a cleric/magic-user. She's also not a bad NPC if you hook her up with the right equipment. The major complaint is the constant whining about needing her self esteem rebolstered every five seconds. As far as a romance goes it's the easiest of the three for guys. You just continue to be nice and she'll lay down for you. Boring! at least w/ Jaheira and Viconia you have to work for it.
