Default European server recommendation!

Calling all European WoW players!

The server I've been playing on since mid 2005 - EU-Xavius, part of the Ruin battlegroup - is just...shocking.

It used to be a thirving, buzzing server, now it's just like a ghost town. I was in Org the other morning, and I didn't see anyone! The Battlegroup is really bad too - we have all of 4 servers in it, and most BG games I play are a waste of time as we are so heavily outnumbered by the alliance (earning honor is almost impossible).

The time has therefore come to migrate to a new server! I'm not too bothered about what type of server it is (although I would prefer PvP), but I want to join a fun guild where there are lots of friendly, mature players that do a mix of PvE and PvP!

Any recommendations?

Edit: Ding!

I can recomend Bloodscalp EU. It's a PvP Server.

I like the place, there is a lot of cool people and ok guilds. But then again, I don't know any different. I started on BS, and won't leave.

Plus I'm on it.

PvP is ok, we usually win, except AV. We lose that. Arena standard is meant to be quite good.

The server has a few english on it, with a mix of swe/danes/belgian/dutch/hungarian people on it. The rivally between the western europe and the huns is quite cool.

Plus im there.

Thanks mate - that's certainly one option. I'd like to be on a server with some fellow IWers. I keep trying to get various mates involved in the game, but they're all too scared to try for fear of losing their wives/gf's - cowards! It's all about self control and moderation

Your guild looks like it's one of the best on the server at a quick glance, with some great progression stats!

We're best horde guild by a long way, we were 4/5 bosses ahead in SWP.

Two guilds cleared KJ to date horde side.

Allys have some good guilds too, I think the fastest to KJ was an ally, then us second. We could of been first, I'm not sure

But I like my server

Anyone know from experience how long it takes to migrate to a new server? I'm thinking of moving one of my horde toons to Tico.

Bit late in replaying here, but the transfer is almost instant, despite the fact that they say to wait 3 days or something. However, do it before expansion hits becaue then, there may be delays. Always pick a "Full" server if you are coming from a low pop. serve. Queue times aren't really an issue except on weekends (tops 15 mins on a Friday night) and it's a small price to pay for having teams in low lvl instances and Bg's. I left CC for Area 52, never looked back ever.
