I dunno about the DOM, but a walnetto is a caramel-like candy flavored with, you guessed it, walnuts. "Care for a Walnetto, little girl," was a catch-phrase on the old "Laugh-In," spoken by Arte Johnson in his "Dirty Old Man" character. It played off the old warning from mothers everywhere about not taking candy from strangers.

I figured out the DOM thing at, like, three in the morning the night I posted the question. The Walnetto thing still doesn't make that much sense, but whatever.

The statement above about the very old TV program "Laugh In" really explaine it all. Us old far...er... fellows remember things like that.
