Quick KOTOR2 question. Who is better character to develop -- Mandolore, Bao Dur, or T3.

I am on Duxun for the 2nd time and I already sent Handmaiden, Visas, and Atton on a mission, and they are not available now. I have to take the wench Kreia on a mission with me, and am left choosing between Mandalore, Boa Dur, and T3.

I'm assuming T3 will have limited use, and I'm prolly gonna take Mandalore v. Bao Dur. Bao Dur has some uses on the Ebon, but I can't see what he brings to combat. Especially when compared to Mandalore. But, I realize I may just be missing someting about Bao Dur.

So, please tell me how you use Mandalore, T3, and Bao Dur, and any thoughts you have about their overall usefulness.

THANKS!

Bao Dur makes it a lot easier for you to get through the enemy shields on Onderon. That probably gives him the edge over Mandalore IMO, for gameplay reasons.

Also depends what your fighting style is and how you developed these guys. In my game BaoDur was a ranged specialist and Mandalore was a melee specialist. Bao fit my party better. I don't reckon you'll need T3 at all.

I actually sent Mandalore on the mission (which Visas led).

If you manage to convert him into a Jedi Guardian, he should be more powerful than Mandalore, plus it also depends on the skill let him proficient in. For me, he is very proficient in repair, demolition and computer, which is almost as good as T3... These are the skills that comes very handy in most of the situations.

Oh, since he is the only Jedi that cannot be equipped with a robe, the miners uniform that you found earlier should fit him rather well if you decided to let him use master speed.

Although the miners armor/uniform is pretty weak, master speed is very good to had since he will be leaping in and do an instant one-hit-kill (with dual lightsabers) most of the times.

Not to mention that you could upgrade some STR bonus underlays which makes him a very formidable attacker.

If Bao Dur is a jedi, take him.

If he isn't, take Mandalore. Make Mandalore use Melee weapons (a Sith Tremor Sword if you have one).

um u know it really depends on whether u are light or dark side and whatt sort of droid upgrades u have.
If u have master heal its way better to have humans in your party I think. It weighs way above the stats and fighting. So mandalore and bas dur are both good. So in that scenario u have 2 jedis with heal and the third person doesnt really matter.

Mandalore with the range is better I think. baos force shield stopping power is entirely useless it has no point so dont weigh it in.

How does Bao Dur become a Jedi? And, yes... please spoil me.

Currently I'm on the urban world (Nar Shadaa?) trying to get the exchange to notice me -- and not having much luck. It seems I've hit a dead end on my search for Jedi, and I only found 1 (on Onderon).

Bao Dur is a light side character by nature. Just bring him along when you do good deeds and you will gain enough influence to turn him. Of course since I have never played as a dark sider, I have no idea how to turn him to the dark side.

For specific details and actions requires to turn him into a Jedi, I would suggest you read one of the FAQs from GameFAQ.

To get exchange to notice you, you will have to be a) Do plenty of good deeds (lightsider)
b) Be as evil as you can.

Then, when you will have to wait for the trigger for the slavers to appear and kill/chase them off the Ebon Hawk.

After that, the exchange will contact you to set up a meeting.

I haven't managed to turn him yet actually.

Re Nar Shaddaa, I think I caused so much mischief that they couldn't help but notice me.

You need to return to the Ebon Hawk from time to time, to check if the slavers are there.

I think leaving the Refugee camp after completing a number of quests triggers the Slaver attack.
