I posted below, but am dying of impatience...
1. How far does the demo go...can I even GET the portal key in it??? 2. WHERE IS IT!?!?!? Please help me, I love this demo and am buying it tonight, but wanna keep playing for now if I can! |

Sorry, I've never played the demo version, so I don't know if you can or not. But in the full version, the key is in a trapped chest in the room past the 3 Dryads.

OK...figured it out, was checking the room that LOOKED like a bedroom west of dryads instead of the one I didn't even see south of it. For anyone who's running the demo's reference, it goes until you escape and have the seen where the wizzies snatch up the bad guy and Iomen on the surface. I was planning on buying it this weekend...but now I'm snatching it in about an hour. MAN, I loved BG 1 and this is an actual improvement! The add-on that I see talked about, is it free? Is it worth dl'ing?

Right now, I'm an assassin. I always pick a thief type class, and thought Assassin looked pretty fun. MajorMUD I was a gypsy, Xenimus a thief, etc. etc. etc.. I am digging the assassin angle so far, with skills in bastard sword and dagger and two weapon attack...and swinging like a badass with both!

Muwhahaha welcome to the fold my friend, belive me once you put that Bg2 disk in you wont ever take it out,I had to buy another cd drive to use other disks as I decided to dedicate my cd rom drive to bg2..lol... and yes I am quite serious
