what's the race you'd most like to see available for pc's in an adventure you're about to play?
what's the race you would least like to see? what race would you most like to see in an npc about to join your party? what's the race you would least like to see? if your party is about to fight a battle with members of a particular race, which should it be? which shouldn't it be? for what race would you most like to see artwork for? for examples of races, think dwarf, human, elf, gnome, halfling, orc-1/2orc, drow, minotaur, centaur, etc. -manikus |

>what's the race you'd most like to see available for pc's in an adventure >you're about to
>play? Uh, humans? No, I think orc-game would be great! >what's the race you would least like to see? Kobold >what race would you most like to see in an npc about to join your party? hobbit >what's the race you would least like to see? Elf and dwarf since they are over-used. >if your party is about to fight a battle with members of a particular race, >which should it be? If I play orcs those goody-goody races would be my favourite target. >which shouldn't it be? Kobold >for what race would you most like to see artwork for? Human >for examples of races, think dwarf, human, elf, gnome, halfling, orc-1/2orc, >drow, minotaur, centaur, etc. Now you say that! [ 11-14-2002, 10:42 AM: Message edited by: Rami Sihvo ]

I think the classes available in the Oriental adventures were really cool, not to mention the Unearthed Arcana (as in Samurai, ninja, Wu-jen, and Barbarian, acrobat, ect)

oriental adventures...
i've started collecting artwork for this already, and have an icon i've been working on for close to forever of a ninja. kensai, ninja and monks interest me most, so that's probably what i'll do art for. unearthed arcana... i like the idea of having at least one good barbarian icon. You remember the old "dungeons and dragons" cartoon, which had the ranger (with the fire-bow), the acrobat, the cavalier (the one that was a stuck up pain in the...), and all that. I personally agree with the second edition changing the cavalier into a fighter specialist, BUT a fighter icon with a cross (or something like that) on his breastplate or shield would make a good paladin icon. And as for the icons for ninja or monk or barbarian, I think these should be readily available for designers. In fact, I remember an oriental adventures mod for the P&P D&D that had two different monk martial arts temples who got into a conflict for supremacy and (not that I want to, but..) if you were to convert this you would need several types of monk icons (lowly footsoldiers for both schools, plus leaders)
I DL-ed the latest version and still have the display problems, so I guess until I either change back to win 95 or fix it, I am on hold with all 4 of my projects. SilentThief

ahh, the dungeon and dragons cartoon. not only did i watch the cartoon, i had some of the action figures.
as for differing armies, it's really easy to borrow the style that many other games use and recolor. then you could have the red monks fighting the blue monks. sorry to hear that you're still having problems with display. maybe you should put up a post to cocoaspud's attention.
