perhaps somebody should go n try it out? go n bury the rat skull n see wat happens............who knows? maybe u get a rare item, summon a genie or find SOMETHING!

IIRC, I tried to bury it in the sand pile. Nothing happened.

(And I was hoping for a Blessable Mavin Sword too! Darn) I'm not totally sure my memory's correct but I think I did try to bury it. It's been awhile.

then WHAT is the rat skull used 4 anyway???!!! it does not haf any useful uses n only occupies a spot in ur inventory, so y not juz DUMP it somewhere??????!!!!!! [img]graemlins/madhell.gif[/img]

...My best guess is...It might have originally been intended for use in the Wizard Quest...That would have made it too hard...So they changed it to...any skull + a spiders egg....They just, didn't bother to remove the Rat skull, from the game....

I agree with you, Packrat. It would have made sense for the item needed for the Warlock's quest (that's what you meant, right?) to be somewhat unique, like the samurai baton or the raptor's egg.

BTW, didja know that if you get the samurai advancement quest, and then cancel it, the samurai is still out there, waiting to be slain and give you his baton? Discovered that in Missy's game. Made finally advancing to samurai a real breeze.

It don't have any use.
I Restarted my game and I have Signet of Mavins (or something) in my pack
and when I was deleting that character, there came note that your character has some item that will be needed to play the game trought.
When I removed character who had Rat Skull, note didn't appear.
So I think it's for mislead.
When dragon chases you, just drop rat skull, like lizard drops it's tail and you get save... [img]smile.gif[/img]
