Oh a word of warning. Don't pack together, pack alone. Much more bearable. You should have a ball though mate. America seems made for driving. ------------------ I am the walrus!.... er, no hang on.... A fair dinkum laughing Hyena! |

You are right about that!! I prefer to be West of the Mississippi when I can help it... East coast is way too crowded and too many tolls!! (Yes, I grew up on the East coast - specifically Washington DC... what a thrill )
Yeah.. the packing is icky... but almost done.. thank goodness! I love being out in the high desert, New Mexico, Arizona, Utah ... and the Rockies, Colorado, Wyoming, Montana... and the Coast is really fun, California, Washington and Oregon... the roads are wide and the sky is huge... wonderful places to be!! Now I could also sing praises for the South... but not too much in summer... hot and humid as all get out down there!! But the rest of the year is fabulous!! Heck you got me rhapsodizing about why I love my job. I love the travel, plain and simple. There is just you, a truck and an open road - and your thoughts. ------------------ Defender for the Light - Goodness knows there is a lot of Dark out there!! - Where are my matches?!?
