Well sorry Cyin_Dyhacer about the talk about a handbag and stuff..

if you want to cast 9th level spells make sure you have high inteligence and buy scrls every scrl you ca get your hands on cause with Inteligence and wisdom potions you can scribe them down and that gives you nice XP´s and well you can cast 9th level scrolls, tales some bloody time though but its worth it...

Okay, here is my point of view on the starting subject, mage
scrolls. I think its good that there are a few spells you have
to have the scroll to throw, in most fantasy/epic storylines
they throw some "super" spell at a time or other with aid of
scrolls and other stuff.

Spells you cant throw without help if you say so. Good for the
game! And you atleast get exp to the party when you scribe, so
its not a total waste to scribe them is it..

But now, to the fast leveling. Damn, hated it, I want it to be
rough like hell to level, you should maybe have been around lv
3-4 after finishing bg1 first time, and reach lv 7-8 when you
finished the game 3 times, on harder difficulty. And in BG2,
about the same thing, but you should end at about lv 14-15 i
think. Then you could build on the series... mmmmm...

think about BG5 when you are in the dusty streets of Lorkh
and fighting thoose Zenit.. mmmm... (is it lorkh? its back
east a far bit from Waterdeep).

Well, thats it from my 2 cells.

Here's something dealing with scrolls and levelling. If everyone got one to nine thousand EP per scroll, there wouldn't be an apprentice mage alive below level ten.

AT first, it looked normal. I am just suprised for Viconia coz as Memnoch said, she levels up so fast therefore she being a high priestess of a level and can beat the hell out of everyone, including Drizzt. At BG3, or 4 if there is, we would be as high, or higher than Elminster, and that is bad. What will happen to idoliscism if we are higher than we look 'up' to. And the scolls scribing it into the spellbook, I was suprised by that. Yes, you should really have exp. by successfully doing it, but I guess its too high still. And for Bodhi, lower exp than a beholder. Should be.
