Not sure about FF2 since FF1 was just a bad kids movie IMHO...Unless you liked the first one that is (I hated it).

I saw Spiderman 3 yesterday and man... Not sure what to say but I both loved it and hated it... I loved the first 2 movies, they were great, Spiderman 3 was also great, the fightscenes were very good, Venom was awesome, sandman was tragic (although the connection to Bens death was very unconvincing, like they just needed a reason to make Peter hate him), Jonah was my favourite character as always... J.K Simmons is a genius... and Harry was cool as the Goblin...
But then we come to Peter, and Mary Jane... ARGH! Peters personal life is like a bad episode of Melrose Place. The over the top sentimentality of this movie makes House on the Praire look like Die Hard. I know Sam wants to show the human side of Spiderman but thats just too much. Evil Parker was also just ridiculous. I hope they make number 4 though and make it less creepyweepy and that Black Cat (felicity) will be in it... |

Very bad all around. The bad acting and script was too much to handle. They tried to cram way too much into it and got away from the characters true self. Not once through the movie did spiderman's Spidey sence save him, it's one of major powers he has but not today I guess. They need to go back to the drawing board. I hope the next one has the vulture or Professor Powers as the villian that could make for a good show.

Dissapointed, Venom was awesome, but the new goblin was nothing compared to the original.
And emo spiderman was just truely sad, it made me wonder why I was still watching.

I saw it over the weekend and it was a pretty decent action flik, I have to say though, I was disappointed with Topher Grace as Venom, he plays the same person in all his movies. I really wanted to see Doc Connors become Lizard, but maybe that'll be in the next one.
