Smashing Pumpkins - Siamese Dreams
Bob Dylan - Highway 61 revisited
Radiohead - Bends
Tom Waits - Small Changes
Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds - The Boatman's Call

I could mention so many others but these are the once I'm listening to mostly these days...
OMG, someone else who listens to Nick Cave!! I only know one other person that does, and that is Wolfgir, who introduced me to the music. I do not think I have that CD though. Is The Boatman's Call the name of the actual CD, or a particular song Jorath? I love Nocturama and No More Shall We Part.

Radiohead's The Bends is also an excellent CD, and if I ever feel inspired to write poetry, I dunno why, but having that CD playing in the background really helps me, puts me in the right frame of mind maybe. Either way, a very special CD for me as well.

I hate Smashing Pumpkins though LOL. Whiney ass voice that guy has, irritates the hockey sticks out of me.

Hmmm... in no particular order...

Rush: Moving Pictures
KISS: Alive!
Blackthorne: Tonight's the Night for Drinking
Eve Selis: Eve Selis
Billy Joel: Storm Front

Moving Pictures is the first album I played drums to (and I've still got the vinyl, Wellard!). Blackthorne and Eve Selis are local bands (Detroit and San Diego, last I knew).

Boatman's Call came out in 1997, it's absolutly wonderful, especially two songs Into my arms ans And Are you the one I've been waiting for.
I also have the Best of cd and the new double album which is great.

And yes, Billy Corgan is whiney... but when the music is that good, I don't really care...
