Why is it back?!
This ruins my whole posting experience, it's so annoying, and I thought Ziroc shared that opinion..

I'll give an example of it, for those that might have missed it

Um...yes, Sir ReGiN, as much as it's annoying, we do have a few members who enjoy making a cutting remark to someone, and then running back and editing it when they realize they've been "caught." It's a necessary evil right now to keep the "Edited By" in there.

Just so you'll get my drift, take a look at this thread:

That sort of trick doesn't work here very often anyways with the Edit line or no, as there are many many eyes reading, you can edit, but the chances are high that what you originally wrote has already been seen, and possibly even been quoted or copied, especially if it is an offensive post. Quick on the draw, that's us Ironworkers!

Wow. That was an eye-opener. Cloudy, Larry, I think you were very mature. I'm afraid I would have gotten hacked. I was just getting sleepy, but that woke me up.

My biggest problem with the editing feature is that I am very service oriented, so when I am scanning through the posts in the RPG forum, and I see that somebody forgot to properly close a font or end an italics code...I will go in there and do the work for them, without bothering them. I like to help out, and that is just one way that I try to make things run smoothly over there. Posting different characters in one thread ...all in a different color gets tricky, and sometimes a mistake will happen.

Now, everybody will see that I have edited their post, and start worrying or complaining...telling me to stay out and quit messing with thier stuff, never realizing that I have helped them.
I believe Ziroc mentioned that an open HTML code can screw up the forum sometimes...so that is why I am so diligent.

I suppose I will just write below their threads from now on..."edited due to HTML errors"...or something like that.
