Just thought I'd let evryone know that I was on IGN.com and they said that EB world is taking pre orders for an as yet unamed expansion pack for Baldurs Gate 2 to be released may 31 this year. Cool huh. While Interplay hasn't admitted anything, an expansion pack is inevitable. BG2 sold how many copies again? How many game of the year or runner up awards has it got? Interplay would no doubt have started work on an expansion not long after finishing the original as they knew it would be a success. They said in an interview I saw that they wanted things like more romances and more evil tasks which were left out due to time and space constraints but will probably be included in an expansion. Remember TOTSC added A LOT of new areas to BG1.

Yay!

Although an expansion for Lucasart's XWA was as you put it "inevitable", yet it was discarded...

Thats great, but its a shame we gamers are only given expanstions if they think they will net a bigger profit, long live people like Jon who make them because of a passion for the game not greed, sigh.
