OK, I've been lurking since about Christmas when I got BG2, my first RPG (apart from FF7 which was so tedious I didn't finish it).
A big thank you to all you guys who make this forum such a great place. I wouldn't have enjoyed BG2 as much without it. I tried to avoid most spoilers, but apart from them there were some really useful comments that weren't obvious (to me) from reading the manual:- 1. Dexterity is important to everyone, not just thieves. 2. You need +1 weapons or higher to damage some monsters. 3. Artificial Incompetence is sometimes best turned off. I've only recently finished it, and might try it again solo. It's certainly the best value game I've bought. Thanks again - perhaps I'll lurk a bit less now. |
