Some Scouts, Terminators, a tank or two...a dreadnought, and the like.

< blatant advertisement> I'd be happy to sell you all of my space marines at a very competitive rate if you wished < /blatant advertisement>

Advise eh?

Space Marines eh?

Get rid of them and start collecting a real army.

Aside from that you should get the army book, basics of any 40K army are two troops choices (space marine squads) and one HQ choice (chaplin, force commander, ect)

Check the rulebook, it's no good buying lots of models if your never going to use them.

Aside from that heres some general tips.

You have some of the best core troops in the game, given the right supporting choices you can't go far wrong with lots of basic marines, people will tell you otherwise but listen to them not,

60 space marines = 900points
Most games are played at around 1000-2000 points, if you build your force around lots of marines most armys will not be able to kill enough of your force to win, numbers matter.

Tyranids are nice, [sickly sweet voice]the cutest fuzzy wuzzys you've ever seen[/ssv]

Though for the greater good, you should join the Tau empire, it is the only choice that makes sense.
