I have heard that there are some real issues when it comes to gaming and online browsing with this Service Pack. Have they resolved the issues or should I avoid installing this altogether? Thanks!

Yeah, install it, but there was a major issue with local networking and printing, basically MS had made the local network not so local, and your files were available to the outside world.

Oh, and theoretically you could print all over the world! Lol.

It is resolved so long as you 1) Have SP2 and the latest updates; and 2) Disable some of the servers that MS put into Windows. They masquarade under the names of File and Printer Sharing, Windows Messenger Service, and Universal Plug and Play. I think that one of these is disabled in SP2, but I'm not sure.
