You can join alot of diffrent guilds you dont' have to be any class to join a guild. All classes can cast magic To cast magic right click choose your spell from spell menu lower right of the screen when your right click and right click back then just hit R on the keyboard and left click a good faq there are lots at www.gamefaq's.com just search morrowind Anyway hope this helps

In the beginning you won't be able to cast very much, but you'll find plenty of scrolls to help you out. Just rightclick your mouse, select the magical item you want to use, then type "r" and cast the spell. Here's some good gamefaq's. Yep, eventually if you boost your skills enough, even meleefighters can be deadly mages. For "residence" plugins go here [ 09-14-2003, 07:25 AM: Message edited by: johnny ]

If you create a custom class, you can choose the 'restoration' school of magica as either a major or minor skill, which should give you 'hearthheal' automatically: its a stunningly good healing spell to start the game with!
