I'd kill the bugger in a heartbeat. Though I know I'd be breaking the law doing so. I do agree, law is law, and a price must be paid for murder, but under such extenuating circumstances I'd see community service and perhaps mandatory counseling sessions more appropriate.

I think the state should sanction the killing of the rapist. He was willing to deprive those kids of their rights, so he should forfeit all of his own.

A long, slow, painful death is what he deserved.

I would kill him in a heartbeat, and then i would turn myself in. What could jail take from you that he rapist hadnt already?

It was a very short story, even in Dutch, so I wasn't surprised when none of my usual English sources had it. The only detail I haven't mentioned in the intro was that he bludgeoned the (45-year old) rapist to death with an iron bar.
