Hey all, I'm looking for a new monitor to go with my new system. I was thinking maybe a 22" CRT, or a 20" TFT (to get 1600x1200 res.)

I'm looking for something under £200 preferably, or near that sort of region, over £300=out the window. So, any suggestions?

Cheers,
Ross

For a 21inch CRT which will do 1600x1200.

You'll never ever get a 20inch LCD for under £300 (assuming you need a gaming one with a decent response time).

There are a few nice 19inch ones here, some of which are ~£220 - 250 - their native res is 1280x1024. Moving up to a 20 inch will cost you at least half as much again...

Thanks, I'm not really interested in 19" LCDs though, because I want 1600x1200. Those CRT's are not bad, but there isn't too much there. Anyone else got any for me?

How about The Viewsonic E92f+SB 19" CRT Monitor Black/Silver (MO-028-VS)

Just near the bottom of the page.

You'll want a CRT for gaming anyway. My 19" is very good. Make sure it has a low pixel count .2-.25ish

Got to say that my 19" ViewSonic LCD is great for games. As long as you get 16ms response time, I haven't seen a hint of ghosting anywhere, including HL2.
