Im curently in the drow city and iv killed the nasty beholder. But now when I go back to the tavern and trie to speak to phaere and Solaufein I get nothing...
Solaufein just tells me that he and phaere had words and he wishes to be left alone and phaere just gives me some short message not giving me anything... Do i miss a gtreat deal if i just leave the city and go and kill the silverdragon instead. geting tired of not getinng anywhere... |

I had a similar problem some time ago with that specific quest. A lot of the drow quests are time specific and you need to follow a specific sequence. Give it a day or so of game time and then speak to them again. If it still doesn't work you may need to reload and replay the segment. Try to follow what is said (eg if they say to wait, then wait). Good luck.

I've always found the Drow City bit involves a lot of waiting around and sleeping, but be careful not to miss any deadlines given. Try looking in your journal - sometimes it gives slightly clearer instructions than the dialogue - it may say something like "Phaere told me to go to her quarters in 3 days blah blah blah"

I just rushed through the whole sequence, without resting...
Worked for me though... Oh, and I was using the unpatched version then. ------------------ A Drawn Sword; A Trickle Of Blood; The Tempest Is Brewing. Nemesis.... |

Might contain SPOILERS:
