I just read somewhere that there are tomes in BG2. Is this true? This was the first time I heard about it. I am not that far into the game, doing all subquests takes a while and still has me in chapter 2.
If there are tomes that increase stats, where are they? |

Hey, if anyone finds them let me know. I haven't found any tomes that permanently up your stats so far, and I'm in the middle of Chapter 5. I know that you can find them quite a lot in Planescape Torment.

As far as I know, Tomes are not in BGII. You can import them from BGI, or create them possibly with CLUACONSOLE, but the designers thought they would unbalance the game too much and they decided not to put them in. It's possible they may be squirreled in there somewhere, but it's not documented.
