I have heard the same, my brother put it on his HP pervailion without problems so its at least compatable with alot of stuff . I should put it on my but i'm wondering if its worth the hassel to upgrade from 2000 pro.

You're all right, Linux is a LOT more stable, there's a few versions on my computer, the latest being Mandrake 8 or something, and it's a whole lot more reliable than Windows.

I run Windows 98 and my computer NEVER crashes, it used to, but that was because of heating and voltage problems, never crashes now.

I've got this really shitty comp at home, which will crash at random times (read: when in a very tough battle in either BG2 or ToB... :mad This is so frustrating, and I don't know what is causing it, so it's even more frustrating!!! It makes me wanna get a hammer, and smash that computer right in the face.. er.. hang on.. screen!!
