I'm not sure if I'm happy or disappointed that you didn't have to peel your suprised cat off the ceiling.

Her hearing is almost normal. She compensates by reading lips and we are forced to talk to her face at times. But then my wife and I can be talking quietly and she will pick up on that. So I would have to say she is like any other pre teen... she selectively hears what she wants!

My sister still does this... At 21.
I think it is more a female thing than just a pre teen thing.

(Yes, I do it as well, usually when asked to tidy my room)
