Re: Greetings
My preference is to give them at least three bags of holding, a pair of Drow Boots of Haste, and tell them to keep up with me and pick up everything I drop. After all, having them see the value of a dollar for themselves is far more educational. (Not to mention some of my characters have enough "spare" items to outfit a batallion. I know - I've done it.)

Re: Greetings
I like to go with the option of 'Here's a big sword/axe/WMD' let's go find some trouble.
I've seen a few new players in EFU recently, so welcome one and all; stop and say hello when you bump into people, we're nice really (even my evil characters are nice, in an evil but polite sort of way).

And what is about to shake things up in EFU, will be fun too! Make sure you visit levels 6,7 and 8 soon, as those levels will be changing bigtime.

Re: Greetings
I hope you're not getting rid of the Beast, we had a battle Royal with him yesterday (although based on the bad behaviour shown by the Beast it may well be a girl...)
