I think this calls for a proper investigation into the reasons for your biting. I suggest you put the rug on top of your bed and then sleep on it. If tomorrow morning you have 80 bites we will know that the rug contains the insects. Otherwise we will know that it was merely the location of the rug that led to the little bastards feasting on you.
