Okay, I looked... and I didn't know what European Handball was. Willow, and everyone else, disregard my other uninformed response. I'm going to crawl back under my rock now with the rules and regulations for European Handball... quite a different game

And Xen, good luck to Slovenia.

My team(Croatia) got pummeled by Denmark, so we're on 4th place. And it looks like Slovenia will get pummeled as well.

Well, you won against Croatia, I wouldn't ever have bet on that beforehand. Grats to Slovenia for 2nd Place!

Willow, picture a squash court. But with only a front wall, and the side walls crumbling down so they only go a meter or two. Then take a couple of people, a ball with more reaction than a squash ball but less than a racquet ball, and play similar to squash, except without the funny rule about the line on the wall.

Handball is nothing like that.

Okay, it really is like that, but I wanted to be difficult. It's my job today -- ask my beloved.
You've awaken my curiosity Bungleau. What sport are you talking about? I can't figure it out! LOL

That's the handball I used to play in junior high school, out on the back courts. Side walls came out about two meters tops, and you played against a front wall. Hit the ball with your open hand, and you could recognize the sandbaggers -- they'd be the ones who brought handball gloves.

Actually, I think we used a racquetball to play with... or maybe a tennis ball. Heck, I was in eighth grade at the time... we used whatever we had..
