I just got a Tippman A-5. I've decided that i'm going to modify it to make it a sniper.

Just thought I'd pass on something a friend mentioned tonight... a frozen paint ball at 50 feet or less will penetrate.
He's also retired from the military, and spent large parts of his career in places he never officially was.

Out of curiosity, have you considered an air rifle or pistol? A Daisy 880 rifle or Crossman 1177 pistol can, with 10 pumps, achieve muzzle velocities of around 650-700 fps. They'd be considerably more accurate than paintball guns. The only problem is their low rate of fire, but they're relatively inexpensive and you could have 3 or 4 preloaded ones at hand.
