Yea I actually like shrewsbury, it's a nice town. In fairness, most of Lancaster is nice, some of it is gorgeous. I just live in the arse-end.

Read your lease document looking for the section on breaking your lease. Last time I broke one I had to give 30 days notice and pay rent during that time. So if you stay through the full 30 days... no loss. Other than possible life or limb. Deposit may be up for grabs, but as others have said, money is easier to replace than limbs and eyes.

Feel free to post the text up here if you want us to look at it

Man, you need to get out of there - there are bad places and there are BAD places, how you managed to find, move to and stay in the second type is a mystery, but don't keep on keeping on, it's not worth it.
