Ok all these sound intresting, so maybe you should include a story about how exactly you happened to loose the thing.

I lost my car because i got it bogged on a sports oval. I was doing donuts and handbreak turns with a friend, then my friend's car got bogged so i pushed him out only to get myself bogged, then the police were called by nearby residents beause we made too much noise. It was in a basin area that could have almost been a swamp, so mah.
They didn't charge us, but my car wasn't there today, so maybe it was towed, but i don't know, and with all the breaks on i don't know how.

EDIT: yeah yeah, i know it's karma

When I was younger I lost my commodore 128 computer. Or rather it was stolen, but I consider it lost cause I no longer have it.

My parents were driving me home from my grandparents house and it was packed in the back seat.
We stopped for dinner someplace... and when we came back, the passanger door was open. Someone took the computer, both 1571 floppy disk drives and my color monitor.
I almost welled into tears, I lived off that machine, and even made a few bucks at school with it. I was 1 of about 3 kids that had a 33.6k modem. Other kids, who only had 300 or 1200 baud modems would drop me a few bucks to log onto a BBS with their name and download things for them.
I have since then bought another commodore 128 for nostolgic purposes. I even got another FastLoad cartridge

Thats my story

My mind... I walked around without it for an entire morning until someone was kind enough to turn it into the Lost and Found.

OK. So I went out playing football and it was a hot day. I`ve thrown my shirt next by the pitch. I forgot to take it and went home. Of course when I rememberd about it I went back but the shirt disapperad. It was probably stolen.
