First off, If someone here posted a link to a "no cd crack" site, he/she would violate the AUP and the mods would be on him faster than a hasted demi-lich

And if your computer needs Disk 4 to play then you didn't do a full install so a "no cd crack" can't help you. Disk 2 is needed to play.

Write Black Isle Support an E-mail, I am sure if you send them the scratched CD they will replace it for next to nothing.

Meanwhile borrow a friends cd and do the full install. If your 2nd cd is ok then you can play intill your new 4th cd arrives.

*edit* That cd sander works but is kinda expensive you could buy a new copy of BG 2 for it.

I am not to sure where you are from??? But there is away to fix your CD. I was at Electronic Boutique(not to sure on the spelling). And some one has made a device to fix such problems. The demo should this guy taking a CD and using a SOS pad on it so the computer could not read it. Then he put into this device and bingo it would work again. IT re-grooves the CD or something. If you have on of these stores go and ask there. AS soon as I run into this problem I am going to try it out.

Mack_Attack is right about Electronics Boutique and their CD fixer thing. There is a manual hand-held device, and an electronic one. It is more or less a buffer for your CDs, and it does work.

---There is also an address with instruction in the user manual. I believe you send them the old CD with $5.00, and they will replace it, but that will take a while for the mail, unless you pay extra for UPS service, or something

You could just try to get a new one from wherver you bought it from, find a friend who has it and use thier cd. Like they said and use a crack.
That really sucks,
