I've got a thread on here somewhere in which I carefully explain how to hack an item - this is a simple replacement item hack in which you are changing a junk item into something needed. There is less chance of having problems with that sort of hack. We'll need to verify that the code for both keys is identical and locate my thread on hacking items http://www.ironworksforum.com/ubb/cg...c;f=4;t=007364 That's the thread on hacking items - read it over and decide if you are feeling brave. Remember if you make a backup of your save (a copy into another directory) the worst that can happen is that you end up being precisely where you are now - missing the key. The other option would be - restore to a saved game prior to Cet's tomb - do you have one??? One thing I learned a very long time ago is not only to save often but to save in different save slots. I always have a save for before entering a dungeon and a different save for inside the dungeon as I progress and am fairly certain that it's a good time to save. I usually have between 4 or five saves for one game in progress. If I had the game loaded on this machine I would offer to take a search around in your save game to see if I could locate the key for you. Perhaps someone else would be willing to take a copy of your saved game and do that. Wyv [ 10-26-2004, 11:51 AM: Message edited by: Wyvern ] |

If you want to zip up your save game and roster.dat, email them to me and I'll take a look around for them.

Neway goodluck on finding the key remember search ur characters throughly for it. [ 11-11-2004, 04:44 AM: Message edited by: Pop 'n Fresh ]
