The lines are blurred because too many don't bother to look past the surface and make assumptions based on soundbytes.

Libs especially seem to go into convulsions at the mere mention of "Tea Party" because they seem to think it embodies the absolute worst elements of Repubs taken to the most extreme degree. They never bother to realize that, while the Repubs have tried to align themselves with the Tea Party, the Tea Party members consider Repubs to be as much of the problem as they do Dems. Anyone willing to look past the surface presented in the media would discover that for themselves.

It's true the Tea Party doesn't do themselves many favors and their lack of cohesive leadership and objectives leads to any member claiming to be (or being presented as) representative of the whole group.

I don't endorse the Tea Party, although I agree with some of their ideas, like smaller government, less spending, etc. They don't have the political clout to create change on a wide-scale, but they do have the power to influence local elections, which can put new people in Congress, Senate and Governor chairs and might slowly bring about some of the changes they seek.

In the meantime, the ballistic reactions they provoke from the Lefty Libs provides plenty of entertainment.

The tea party is not even a party. It was founded by prominent Republicans like Dick Armey to be a series of coordinated protest events. Ironically many social conservative nanny staters have flocked to it leading to the surge in popularity of candidates like Michelle Bachman, who recently rank abortion as a more important issue than the deficit.

Social conservatives in libertarian clothing = "tea party"

Their concept is hardly original either. The Libertarian party has been throwing tea protests since back in the 70s. Of course they tend to be just nuts, not angry nuts.

Yeah, it's a Republican stunt that was first mass promoted by Fox (if anyone recalls they came under fire about it) and gave birth to it. I also love just how unaware they are of Fox wielding them like a blunt object. I mean, at least pay these people for doing "gods work". Or teach 'em how to make proper signs even.

Why would I flee? You're blustering bravado is too amusing to miss. I do find it funny that you keep demanding research from everyone else while never providing evidence of your own, then try to claim others want you to do the work for them when it is obviously the other way around.

That's what I like about you; you're always good for a laugh.

Fox didn't have anything to do with starting the tea party it was Rick Santelli on CNBC who started it, and I've already shown the evidence...

Called for on 9 Feb, 2009 by Rick Santelli of CNBC.

LOL. Well, you can think whatever you want if it helps you sleep at night.

In the meantime, I've posted as much evidence of my research on here as you have of yours.
