Spoilers!!!
~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ I get back to athkatala, see the head of my order (I'm a paladin), says he'll help me, though I though I would be kicked out for helping the Shadow Thieves, and I go to the docks to forge some items. When I get there, Gythanki ambush me, and me thinking that as a Paladin, I would have followed the law and pay the $5000, have Edwin(a) and Jan cast some spells and in come them, then when those two groups are killed, Viconia gets mentally raped (or so she said) and so we kill a drow and his pet demon. (In which Viconia just is being sucky towards me) And at any moment, Harpers can possibly show up to kill Jahiera. I say its not right. And so I want to do the limited wish quest, and stop at the Twisted rune, I save right before battle, end up having to stop in the middle, and when I get back on and go into the room, I could have tap danced on the table without them showing. Well Schools almost over and I have an AP prac test, so I'll be complaining more later.

It is usually so when you get into chapter six. All the quests and romances tend to stall while you are away from Athkatla.

It's crunch time for me too, and those AP tests are a significant part of your future at college, trust me. I don't know if this would work for you, but I'll share it anyway: hide your game CDs, give them to your parents, whatever, and don't get them until after your work is done. I shipped my wallet full of game CDs back home so I can play again in three weeks. I need to remember that there's a reason why I'm paying 20K a year, and it's not to be up until 4am watching the ending of ToB. Read the forums, though. You need to get your fix in somewhere. [/offtopic] Be careful about the allies you request for the upcoming battle. If one of your non-partied pals happens to kill somebody, you won't get any experience for it. And there is a big fat wad of experience points there that you don't want taken away from you by a stray scimitar. (Not sure if this has to do with Viconia's romance or not, never had her as a party member...) Hopefully you did the right thing as a paladin and gave them back what they were looking for, right? There's something Jaheira-related coming up soon, but you might have to leave Athkatla to make it happen. This would be a good time to do Limited Wish. Where exactly did you save before the Twisted Rune battle? Outside or inside? I've had a similar problem when I saved inside the building, and reloading from the Auto-Save made from just outside the building seemed to fix it.

Technically, a Pally could get away with not giving the Giths the silver sword, based on the fact that githyanki are an evil race (a la drow)...same reasoning you could use behind killing any chromatic dragon (but NOT metallic ones), or simply slaughtering drow.

If a Paladin kills a drow slave in the Underdark, and no ones around to hear it, does he lost reputation? Strangely, yes.

yup, it was inside. I went to the forests of Tehir, and i'm probably over-exaggerating, but I discovered a plot so twisted, it would make Bhall's head spin. (ADHW made them drop like flies, quite unexpexted. )
