My computer is back ... and I'm having fun. I found a trick -- Double entangles + Grease + 2 handed weapons = death for anything without ranged weapons or 2handed weapons. And I can get 2 of those nice rings in kuladar for my ranger & paladin. So does this make me a cheat?
There is another -- Santuary spell -- makes them stand around. Must be a bug? Then have a ranger sneak in and stand in one place. Then have some skeletons on mould touch. Then march them in. Looks like cheese me? It doesn't seem fair. Anyone has the same view? |

It's definitely not cheating - you're just using the full range of spells at your disposal. It's possible it may be cheesy if you over-use them (ie. taking advantage of the game engine limitations) but hey, whatever works for you.
Sanctuary making them stand around isn't a bug - it prevents you from being targeted by enemies as long as you don't perform an action I believe. I think it's a bit unfair to use it too much as if you were playing a human opponent they would simply drop a fireball on the flagstones next to you |

No, it's not a cheat, UM, it's good strategy. You will find that the Entangle strategy becomes less effective when you fight monsters that have better saves.
The Mold Touch tactic is only cheesy, IMO, if your stealthed/sanctuaried character stands with the enemies at the limit of your vision, such that the Mold touch on the skeletons can transfer over to your enemies without your enemies attacking the skeletons. Not cheating. The mold touch might be cheesy, but I don't really think it is.

Taking advantage of a loophole in the rules is not cheating; cheating is actively breaking a rule.
