ugh, had a tire blow out on the way home last night. My husband got a ride to the car and put the spare on then took it to the shop but they didn't have one so they ordered it today and called me to tell me the car's ready. $113 later and a new tire is on..ouch!

Thats a pretty expensive tire, Cloudy! Do you drive a sports car??? Mine generally run about $50-$70 and they're a lower profile tire....

Or did you have to drive on the rim for a while...ugh....

Nope, Ilander, just an old Nissan. The tire was about 45-50 but the balancing and labor ran it up. I don't know if they had to fix the rim, either since I may have bent that.

sorry it has taken so long to let you guys know, she is ok, she just has a bad ear infection. and the doctor said she thinks the tube fell out, which could explain the bleeding. but she did say it is fine if it did fall out, that it will heal without surgery [img]smile.gif[/img] they just changed her eardrops and put her on some oral antibiotics to see if that might help.
