The state was fully prepared to handle the return of the Westboro, KS. church folks. However, the protestors got a radio deal from "Mo".

It seems to me that they actually left one funeral, with some persuasion. I don't remember where I saw the link now, but there was a video of it, and people were throwing rocks at them, and they decided to beat feet.

I watched the video of them being chased away. I think that more people should take up the cause of chaseing them away or kicking their a$$es. If they knew everytime that they showed up, that the people at the funeral would wreck them then maybe they would stop showing up. I can honestly say that if they picketed a funeral for one of my family members, rocks would be the least of their worries.

I'm so embarrassed to be a Kentuckian. But the radio DJ had a fine idea -- creative solution.

I've said before... the proper way to deal with trolls like these is to ignore them. Feed them, and they want more. Starve them, and they wither and die.

The sad thing in all this is that they're breeding, and Phelps is training a batch of kids with his homophobic anti-everything crap. Someday, someone's going to snap, and those kids will be hurt. Or worse.

Yeah, and most of his "church" is actually family members. That tree doesn't have very many branches, bet.

Which may explain why the nuts don't fall very far from that particular tree.
