Default Far Cry 2 is AMAZING.

Simply put...if you like First Person Shooters, you owe it to yourself to check this one out...It's very immersive, and plays a bit like a single-unit Rainbox Six game, in that...well, you'd better think about how to infiltrate an enemy camp before you dive in, guns blazing.

The atmosphere is great, and the game just feels alive...

But, anyway, try it out, or get someone else to let you play it on their PC, xbox, or ps3.

Default Re: Far Cry 2 is AMAZING.

I spent part of last night hiding behind a large, mossy rock, beating on my shotgun and just praying that I got the jam clear before about seven guys charged up my path to silence me...and barely made it, but then finished them off...and before their friends could find me, I snuck around the back of the house and up the stairs, to complete my extortion-mission.

On Normal difficulty, I find that the game is pretty tough, but reasonable enough that I can beat things in a couple of goes...that said, I still am having some trouble going long distances in open country, because there's always some fiendish madman with a machinegun manning each kind of outpost, and they're happy to chase you.
