On my XP system here, I've got just the msk files vdubbed, and not the hub files. When I did the hub files, I got the big geometric shapes with primary-type colors... switching it around got me buildings with hotspots.

It hasn't been behaving nicely, though, so I'm probably going to pull it out and reinstall it. When I do, I'll try it both ways and see what happens.

Unless someone else wants to try it before then... If you do, let me know.

Hey guys! I think the newly added tech tip on the virtual dub problem should be a little clearer now (why do 6 files when 3 will do - and yes it's the townmsk files that must be replaced). I'm still not sure what happened in my case. It's possible that I may have made some error in the process, but I don't think I did. It may be that the problem is dependent on the os you're using. I'm running XP on my comp. One oddity is that this time, when I vdubbed the townmsk files, I got the colored geometric shapes on the black background. Before, the vdubbed townmsk files all come out as the real life scene in the game, as did 1 of the townhub files and the other two as geometric shapes. Strange - hard to figure why. Good gaming to all!

Ah, okay. I did not actually bother to look there. But anyway - just in case.
