I know some people like the Black Bow, but I've always preferred the Messenger of Seth because of it's speed.
I forget the name, but Emmerich in HOW is selling one with a higher damage and thaco, and the same speed (3), which I'd like to get. Is it really the same speed, or does the messenger of Seth have an additional attack? Lymond

The MoS has an additional attack. If your archer has a good Thac0, you might want to stick with the MoS, as the extra hit might outweigh the extra damage bonus of a different bow.
6 of 1, half a dozen of the other. Either way, your archer is well set.
