Because it is an easy fight?

For Mind Flayers, I use Skeleton Warriors, although with a Bard, I use Misled instead. Uber Hulks will be disposed of instantly with Death Spell.

Twisted Rune, without cheese, a worthy fight, with cheese... ... tasty... ...

Beholders, possibly the only creature that I have no solid tactic against... save using cheese items.

I fight the Dragons of SoA in this order,

Dragon Spoiler:

Shadow Dragon: Ho hum, ho hum... what? That was a DRAGON???? More like an overgrown deluded monitor lizard... ... For the record, I fight this one at Lvl 10 party average, and is the Dragon I use to test new ways to fight Dragons..

Red Dragon, Firkragg: At last! A Dragon that actually can put up a fight! Joy! Average party level, 12-15, depends on how many side-quests I did.

Black Dragon: Hi Mr Dragon, bye Mr Dragon... ... this is the lamest fight because my party is maxed out by now... so the Dragon falls/loses/dies within 2 rounds... ... I kid you not.

Sadly no. Just a few days ago, I proved to someone that even Skeleton Warriors can overpower Demon Knights on Insane difficulty... using the proper tactics of course.

Here's a link.

i found the hardest battle to be kangaxx (but i didnt have spell imunity)
i havnt tried twisted rune yet so i dont know about that.
The final slayer battle is easy if you turn yourself into a slayer. Fikraag sometimes easy and sometimes hard.
The illithids in the underdark are really easy for me cos i have 70% magic resistance (Ring of gaxx, holy avenger and kaligun's magic resistance) also my save v spells is quite low. I did the illithids without any reloads, I only got hit 3 times throughout the whole dungeon..

Hey, it was not cheesy. It just demostrates how weak Demon Knights are. Now, if I had bombarded the room with Cloudkills, that would be cheesy. I gave them a chance to fight back!

Isn't that the whole point of having summons? What were you expecting? That people summon creatures to serve them cupcakes and tea? The whole point of having summons to make them take all the crap.

I have to agree with Dundee here. Using summoned creatures as your first line of attack/defense isn't cheezy, its good strategy.

In medieval times you didnt see knights charging battle lines first. You saw archers raining death from afar... and then foot soldiers and mercenaries following them (because like summoned creatures, they were expendable).

The knights (much like your own party) were the most valuable part of the army, and usually were employed at the most strategic times, which happened to be after other (less important & expensive) groups had weakened the opposition.

casting multiple cloudkills or death fogs IS cheezy.. but sometimes fun! =)

Demon Knights made easy...

Give Minsc boots of speed, bow + frost arrows. The knights will never get close enough to hit him.

easy peasy.
