I have recently finished the crypt - and ur SECRET AREA "C" on the maps is reachable via "BUTTON" near the way up to Scabban.

You do not have to build crate-towers or something else. The button "lowers" the little entrance to this area that u can simply "jump in".

hehe...not so far, it is after crossing the last bridge (with a zombie on it) in the lower part of the dungeon. But the stuff in these chests is still not crucial
