Greetings everyone!
Just started playing Baldurs Gate 2 yesterday and I've already completed enough tasks to gain 15k in gold (Nalia's quest sure came in handy). So, now that the both parties, the Shadow Thieves and Vampires have shown their interest in my 'favors', which one is the most newbie-friendly pick? Since my playing capabilites are limited at the moment (just started playing), I'd like to go with ease in the beginning. What are the differences, pros. and cons. of both parties? Thanks in advance. |

One thing to consider is if your party is primarily Good or Evil. If you are mostly Good, some characters might leave if you choose the vampires. Mazzy left me once...
Also, you might want to just do a few other side quests first, depending on you playing style or how good of a player you are. minor spoiler follows... . . . . . . . . . . . also, if you wait a little bit, the theives will lower their price. |

I agree with ReGiN. You should go with the Shadow thieves.

I think you get more mystical items if go wit vamps..... but SPOILER! KULA! METAL KULA!

I am usually going with the shadow thieves, but if you go with Bodhi, your enemys wont be so hard to defeat.
