Default completly stuck in Skull DUngeon

I am stuck at the 4 way raising block bridge if you know what I mean. I can't get to the north side because theres only 1 block raised. I pushed all the levers in the south side but cant get into the east or west because in both places theres a grate in the way and also in the east there is a door with a weird button to open it but nothing I use on it works. What should I do

That's a piecemeal puzzle... you flip levers in one spot to gain access to another, where you can flip more levers to gain access to a third spot, and so on.

I don't remember the door with the button, but there are a couple of sneaky tricks you can use if you're stuck.

First, you don't have to raise all the floor pieces. Time it right, and you can jump over an open piece of floor, letting you get to where you want to be.

Second, if you line it up right, you can actually climb up the chains. Look up, jump up on them, and keep going up. When you get near the top, jump onto the landing.

If you check the Best Tips thread, I believe that the pattern for flipping the levers to raise all the platforms is listed in there. You might have to search for it, though...

Oh it has been much to long since I did this puzzle but I do remember that you do not need to make it more complicated than it is - ONLY switche levers as you come to them - you do not need to go BACK to previous levers to reswitch them to solve this puzzle.

Each set of levers should provide you access to new areas - and when necessary - you can jump over missing sections!

Hope you manage to find your way through. This puzzle frustrated many, many players!!!

Yep. This is a jumping puzzle.

In each area you will find a set of 3 switches/levers, toggle all of them as you find them.

Sometimes you don't even really have to jump. Just run and the games lets you succeed.

If you don't want to climb the chains the order seems to be.

Come in from the south
Go to the West (Left)
Go to the East (original Right - now strait)
Go to the North (original strait - now right).

I don't know if the spell Vanish gets you to unexplored bits of the bridge or not, I have never tried it.

The bridge is really ugly. You need to flip the levers and see what will happen. Every time you see a way further you must try, which levers will allow you get even further. This includes all levers, which are accessible currently (where you can jump over the holes in the bridge). It will often happen that you find too late that the way you decided for a long time ago was a wrong way. Ueee. :1pissed:
IIRC, you can find the right ordering of flipping the levers in the Best Tips thread. It consists of 14 or so steps. You need to follow the directions exactly.
Before you lose your nerves completely and remove the game from your disks, return to the beginning of the "puzzle", when all blocks of the bridges were down. Jump into the water and swim to the north part of the bridges (I think it is north, the way directly forward from the start of the bridges). You can "jump from the water" to the lowered blocks of the bridge there. Now, go to the end of the bridge and "climb a chain" there. That means: (a) Go to the chain (it does not matter wheter it is the chain to your left or to your right) as close as possible. (b) Look up as much as possible but look a bit forward, too. Check with the "forward" arrow, you should not retreat from the chain with forward arrow pressed. (c) Press "run" and "forward" together and now start pressing "jump" (yes, you have three keystrokes pressed righ now) repeatedly. You will "jump-run" along the chain, that means you will climb (d) Once you reach the exit (above you) make a step aside. You have reached the exit from the north bridge. It needs a bit of skill but once you get skilled, it's very easy
Finally, flip all three levers there. All blocks of the bridges will go up. No holes on your way any more. No need for "backtracking" the terrible levers. Return back to the start of the bridges (using the bridges, not the water) and continue.
