A long time ago (maybe 10 years ago), but yes. Very good movie. What I remember most are the brutal fight scenes and generally disliking LaMotta throughout the film.

I think its an alright movie, ima big fan of Deniro, I think its his last fight when he just get the sit kicked outa him and says "You never knocked me down ____" whatever his opponents name was is a great line. Too bad the movie was in black and white though.

as for the black and white approach, I always thought it worked really well, It just wouldnt be the same in technicolour
