What does actually pisses me off is that a lot of Dutch call Africans Africans
Northen Africa looks nothing like southern africa
same with Asia

Well that stems from Americans being a lazy bunch of folk
You are on the continent of Europe and that makes you European...Same applies to Asians, Africans, Australians, etc. But then they do seperate the Iraqis from the Iranians, from the East Indians etc. Then they turn around and call Canadians Canadians! If they are going to police political correctness, shouldn't Canadians then be Canadian Americans since they are on the same continent or do they seperate them because our countries, which lie on the same continent, are named differently and have seperate languages? i.e. Mexicans from Mexcio are Mexicans but if they live here they are Mexican Americans!
Where are the Canadian Americans!

Am I am American because I am a citizen of The United States of America or because I am on the Continent of North America?

Now I am just confused!

Maybe we should call ourselves Statespeople?

Wait, I am in Texas...I am a Texan! Totally different subject!

Now if you can make any sense of anything I said and want to reply, please address me as a "Euroafrinatican Texan"!

Whew! I think I need to get to work!

Taking a prompting from something Moni said, I thought it would be fun to post what I know of my origins.
My family from my mother's side comes from Scottland, Ireland, and American Cherokee Indian.
My father's side has Dutch and German backgrounds.
.
Living in Mexico for two years has taught me alot about other nations, as I have spent time getting to know people from Australia, Bosnia, China, France, Canada, Samoa, Egypt, Tonga, New Zealand, South America, Mexico, Spain, and some other countries that I can't even remember right now.
.
Making friends with each of them, trying to learn some basic culture differences, and actually being around these people on a daily basis helped me to put the world in a new perspective. Almost everyone of the people I met were about my age (at the time 19-22), and they all were just like me. They had the same likes and dislikes, and I saw no reason to believe that I was any better than any one them. I am thankful for my opportunity that I had, and the friends I made while there.
