"Ya can't catch me...I'm too quick" said the little green man.
Now you have to understand, the Barbarian was too quick to anger.
After the Leprachaun went he and the party behind him ran.
No matter where he turned, the little green man led us into danger.

During the chase the pixie wizard said that a jungle lily had been this way.
But heedless the barbarian said, "They will give us a wonderful fray."
"Don't you remember the Mantraps you dolt!" cried we.
Unfortunately our Barbarian did just laugh "hehe".

Now here we are all bound up and poison in the air.
The barbarian the first to succumb to the plants flare.
Our pixie curses as we watch with coming horror.
"I told you we would all die if we allowed him to think and error!"

To the reload now we go
To search for the lil' green man again.
But our barbarian is now under tight reign.
So that our pixie may see that we find our way to and fro.

This is a poem that contains my most recent bumble!

"Don't Cast So Close To Me"

With apologies to The Police

Young questors, the subject,
Of monsterous attack,
They want them so badly,
For an adventurous snack!
The party's mage calls forth,
An Elemental Blast
But as he aims the magic,
His friends are running fast!

"Don't Cast, Don't Cast so,
Don't Cast so close to me!
Don't Cast, Don't Cast so,
Don't Cast so close to me!"

The monsters are scattered,
The wizard looks around,
And with surprise he sees them,
His friends lie on the ground!
It takes a load of mana,
Just for to heal them back,
The priest, almost exhausted,
still gives him quite a whack!

"Don't Cast, Don't Cast so,
Don't Cast so close to me!
Don't Cast, Don't Cast so,
Don't Cast so close to me!"

Another group of monsters,
To hurt they try and try,
Exhortations at the wizard,
The exclamations fly!
It's no use, he sees them,
He starts a Flamestrike spell,
The party runs a-screaming,
Over the hill and dell:

"DON'T CAST, Don't Cast so,
Don't Cast so close to me!!
Don't Cast, Don't Cast so,
Don't Cast so close to me!!
Don't Cast, Don't Cast so,
Don't Cast so close to me!!
Don't Cast, Don't Cast so,
Don't Cast so close to me!!"

Cheers,
-Sazerac

WOW!
7 pages of class-A Bumbling!
I love the prose, poetry and stories!
This thread is definitely a classic!
Dragon, a truly exceptional poem!
Saz, "Don't Cast So Close To Me" had me laughing so hard that grandpa came in to see if I was OK! I can't wait for Adam Warlock to see it!

My latest bumble is not in the game.
It's there in my email. It's becoming a pain!
I can hack a file, easy as pie,
but send the file back, it's destined to die.

"Error" it tells me each time I try.
"Error" it says but never quite why.

I use WinSPLIT to improve my chances.
Smaller files, I think, my odds enhances.
But still it fails, it's always the same.
Help! I'm caught in the "send email" game!

North to the Boogres I run, I run.
To get out of the hot blazing sun, the sun.
But what´s this? I am trapped!
My magic got zapped!
This cage was not fun, not fun.

After swearing an oath I got out, got out.
Released by a guard with a snout, a snout.
Talked with boogres so silly,
got chased by a lilly.
Now where is the exit I shout, I shout!

Found a statue so fine, so fine.
Gave it some brew devine, devine.
Now I am stronger
and boogre no longer.
The shinies are now all mine, all mine!

This is a paid advertisement for the upcoming Boogre land.
This new amusement park will host a replica of an ancient gladiator arena, a bar for the elders, walk thru gardens with exotic plants, a maze for the youngsters, romantic dramas on the main stage and for the really young there´s always the "Whack-a-Witch" game. And for all you adventurers and good-doers we are proud to present the boxing arena! The biggest fight of the year will take place here! We´ve got the heavy weight champion Vargul going up against his number 1 opponent, the Cockroach! Please send your donations of 100 shiny thingies (or more) to:
