July 1st, it's Canada Day!
(For those of you who live in the US, that's the big country north of you. )

Today, I raise a beer to toast my fellow Canadians here on IW.

Johnny...without beer...can't really picture it, sorry.

Yeah, we've been up here for 144 years now. Only one thing really has changed though. We can't win the Stanley Cup anymore.

That's okay Johnny, you're only allowed to drink Canadian beer on Canada day anyway.

Only if you're used to drinking American beer. We make REAL beer up here.

They sell plenty of Bud overhere, but i'm not too crazy about the taste of it. It tastes a bit... cheap. We're not short on real beer here, and i DO mean real. If not our own, we also have Belgium and Germany as neighbours. I live in "real beer heaven".

I got beer but there's nobody at my place to toast to.
Ironically "Kana da" is Viennese slang for "nobody here"
