Ok, so I'm doing the Fighters Guild Quest in Morrowind to take out Rels Tenim, Took out the baddies and figured what the heck why not, I dove into the Drethan's Ancestral tomb and took down the Vamp. Got a pretty nice ring out of it, constant effect +10 acrobatics, 40% normal weapon resist, and I think it was a 20% reflect. Anywho, just curious, does this affect any future quests, or only if I plan on going vamp? Didn't get infected as I'm a Wood Elf. Or did I just snag a really nice ring?

Marara is a quest being of one of the vampire quests. It's a side quest so that you haven't spoilt anything. She will want you to fight her, that's all.
In the other words, you have already done the quest, only the conditions were a bit different: instead of doing Marara's wishing, you have had to defend yourself outright  Forget Marara, you are right: you did just snag the best ring in the plain Morrowind
